"We agreed about further cooperation not only in the field of the operation of retinal prosthetics, but also in technological areas, namely in the area of VR-rehabilitation of people with ophthalmic implants and rehabilitation using the brain-computer interface," said the Director for Science and Innovation of the Development Center social innovations "Technologies of Opportunities" Denis Kuleshov.

Also Denis Kuleshov visited the worlds largest consumer electronics exhibition CESTech, where almost all leading IT companies and developers were represented.

"The greatest interest was caused by computer vision technologies. Many developments were presented on voice control, "smart house" systems. All these directions can find application in devices for the disabled by hearing and sight. It is worth noting that the market for neurointerfaces, devices that allow you to read brain signals and transform them into useful information, is growing. And today there is a large number of consumer-level devices for ordinary people who can improve their lives with the help of a smartphone and a neuro-headset, "Denis Kuleshov said.
